Product Description

Lightweight high-aluminium brick is also known as high-aluminium heat insulating brick (high-aluminium heat insulating brick). Lightweight refractory with alumina content of more than 48%, mainly composed of mullite and glass phase or corundum. Bulk density 0.4 ~ 1.35g/cm3. Porosity 66% ~ 73%, compressive strength 1 ~ 8MPa. Good thermal shock resistance.
It is usually made of high bauxite clinker with a small amount of clay, which is poured and formed in the form of mud by gas generation or foam method after grinding, and is fired at 1300 ~ 1500ºC. Sometimes industrial alumina can be used to replace part of the alumina clinker. It is used for lining and insulating layer of masonry kiln, as well as parts without erosion and scouring of strong high-temperature molten material. When directly in contact with the flame, the surface contact temperature shall not be higher than 1350ºC.

Product features:
1. Refractories:
The refractoriness of lightweight high-aluminum bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silicon bricks, up to 1750~1790 ° C, which is a high-grade refractory material.
2. Load softening temperature:
Because the Al2O3 in high aluminum products is high, the impurity is less, the formation of fusible glass body is less, so the load softening temperature is higher than the clay brick, but because the mullite crystallization does not form a network organization, the load softening temperature is still not high as silicon brick.
3. Slag resistance:
There are more Al2O3 in lightweight high-aluminum bricks, close to neutral refractory materials, which can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag, because it contains SiO2, so the ability of anti-alkaline slag is weaker than the ability of anti-acid slag.

Typical applications:
Used in ceramic tunnel kiln, roller kiln, shuttle kiln, wall kiln, also used in the steel industry of various heating furnace coke furnace and other thermal equipment, heat treatment lining materials.
